NUS - EU Project

Development of a Business Model for Building Energy Performance Services in the ASEAN Region (64-2003)

Tasks

There are 4 key tasks and actions for this project and they are as follows:

Task 1:
The first task includes developing building energy simulation using existing programmes with data collected among ASEAN countries, particularly data from Singapore and Malaysia. This study will include critical examination for their suitability for applications in the prediction of energy saving potential of buildings. The relationships between energy consumption and various building design and operational characteristics would also be examined. Measured results will be used to verify findings.
Task 2:
The second task includes developing energy services project documentation by examining existing information, and critically reviewing the risk and risk allocation of different stake holders. Documentation in relation to ASEAN regional legal system will be reviewed.
Task 3:
Local financing practices and options will be reviewed and document templates for project financing and the computation of returns and benefits will be developed
Task 4:
Project documentation and dissemination of findings will be executed throughout the Action's duration. However, final documentation to furnish a complete and comprehensive report is an important deliverable of the Action. Finally, the findings would be communicated to all the target groups to ensure that the Action's true objectives are achieved.
